History: Edwin Wiley Grove born in Tennessee in the 1850’s  had chronic hiccups. His wife and child died of malaria which was the inspiration for Groves Tasteless. I t was a “tasteless” treatment that contained quinine which is bitter but not in the case of the Groves medicine. It sold better than coke-cola in the 1890’s with their “ Makes Children and Adults as Fat as Pigs.” Modo.
